Did you go to failure on most sets? If you didn't, it's not dramatic, it still works but if you're not going to follow my variations, you should at least stick to the original workout.

yeah i went to failure on most sets
i started feeling it in my chest more yesterday and then more today
tomorrow I am doing shoulders and then sunday bis and tris, and monday legs, going to see how I feel after all that but i think i might stick to it, my workouts feel a lot more intense and im dripping sweat all over after only like 30 minutes.

this may be a stupid question, is it a bad idea to try GVT while cutting/having low caloric intake? or doesn't that matter as long as protein intake is high enough?

I was doing higher volume training than this when seeing great results during my cut.
Just make sure that you have the right intake and pound those bcaas.

I'd say it depends on your body and ability to recover though because if you're typically slow @ recovery when cutting even from non-high volume training than a gvt is going to skull fuck you.

Well what I'm getting at, I just want to know if it would be possible to put on mass while cutting some fat, or just maintain?
I just bought a bag of BCAAs and Animal Cuts and I was considering double sessions starting Monday. I was going to do cardio/abs in the morning on mon, wed, fri and just cardio on tues and thurs. Then in the afternoon I wanted to try GVT.

My body's recovery is pretty good as far I know, as I usually can stay on my feet after beating the shit out of myself.

I'm all for it then.

If you look on facebook you can see pictures of my progression, I've done exactly that.

Well I'm gunna give it a shot for a little while. If its too much, then I'm gunna stop it, simple as that haha.
I'm incorporating olympic lifts into the workouts, so thats why I was hesitant (I'm not going to do those in GVT fashion though)

I have been putting on mass while losing fat past couple months, most of the fat loss has actually come in the past 5 weeks too which was while I was NOT on my epistane cycle.
I can easily tell I have been losing fat bcuz more definition and more vascularity. All I did was steup up the cardio a bit and do about 1 hour of non stop cardip, first 35-40 minutes just running and then the rest doing HIIT on the stationary.
And I know I have been gaining mass ofc because going up in weight but getting more definition and vascularity so not from fat.

Oh and I do slam my BCAA's, normally have them between classes, pre workout, 1-2 x intra workout, and sometimes post workout, powder ofc.
