I'm changing to this split this week:
Mon; Pecs/Biceps
tue; Rest
Wed; Rest
Thu; Legs/Shoulders/Triceps
Fri; Rest
Sat; Back/Traps
Sun; Rest
I decided to do this one from now on so I can do more cardio since I need to lose a few more lbs, my Q is that; do you guys think I should just do 1-1 1/2hr cardio on the 'rest' days or add some light weight work also? kinda like boxa's abs exercises on his rest days (from what I remember seeing on his thread last week I think).
I definitely wouldn't be lifting during rest days, but i also don't like 3 day splits at all.
And I hit my abs through synergies but then also rape them twice a week to really get a powerful ab workout in twice a week.
