 I figured your bench would be so much more...

ya me too lol
ive always strugged with bench numbers and any shoulder related numbers lol :(

but also i did ONLY flat/incline db bench for the longest time.. say i've lifted for 1 year 2-3 months(2 years but had 11 months off) about 1 year of that was strictly db incline and flat.. that's why my bb numbers suck i guess.. im gonna start doing more bb though get that shit up haha.. i could do the 100s on flat and decline though and the 90s on incline if that's any better

/facepalm

Ab workouts are great imo. If most of your lifts use core, why would you not want to work out core heavy one day of the week? Why is it better to spend a whole day on chest which is far less useful than core?

I know there have been a few times i did tons of sqauts and deadlifts for months and no core then i did core one day and my abs were sore as fuck. This taught me the importance of working abs on their own as well, just toss them in on your leg day or a few days off of your leg day(not the day before or after).

Also if you workout for aesthetics or strength(what else is there?) isolated lifts are very important. You need to be doing isolated and compound lifts and a fair amount of each if you want maximal gains. Focus more on doing different RoM's for each muscle group, i.e. hammer curls and concentration curls, as they hit different parts of the bicep more.

Dunno bout you, but after my squats and some strongmen exercises, my core/abs were sore like hell.

probably from the strongman exercises most of those are extremely core intensive

You know, alot of my clients said they weren't feeling their abs much during squats and deadlifts. The reasons I found were that they never really focused on flexing them and using them. And not using heavy enough weights (usually exactly because they weren't flexing their abs, which made the lifts more difficult)

Your arms are bigger, but his chest is alot more well formed and thicker. Yours LOOKS thick but you still have alot of bodyfat on it.

My arms are 15.25 and chest is 40 or 41" (not sure where to measure and hard to not flex while measuring it) both w/o a pump. So kinda similar measurements. I'm 165 lbs or so in the morning.
