lol why would you work abs. Just get your maxes up a notch and they'll grow. You gotten more ab definition over the year by not working on them at all.

I can put some ab work in your workout if you want but they're going to be heavily weighted.

Here's me what 11 months ago or so? Was thinking about doing ab ripper x on off days. Whenever i'm at the gym I just can't find it in me to spend another 10 minutes doing ab work.. so I usually say f it and leave :)

Yeah lol. Most of my gains were prob in the first few months though. The rest of the time was very inconsistent :(

But most peoples first year of working out is that way. I'll make a thread in a month when it's been a full year. :)

alright i was kind'a vague.
isolates are fine as long as they're 1-2 exercises in ur total workout. they're not functional, their only purpose is to add that bit of extra load to the end of the workout session.
if you can make a workout with only compounds, it'll always be preferable.
