they are both called ZMA, but one is zinc magnesium aspartate, while the other is zinc monomethionine aspartate. whats the difference? I also noticed the optimum brand seems to have a substantial amount more of people using it, like 10x more (on bb.com) than the NOW brand

i heard that this can help sleep as well is this true?



They both are Zinc, Magnesium, and B6. The NOW! has slightly more B6 (not like it really matters that much).

As far as the zinc type goes, Optimum uses Zinc Monomethionine and NOW! uses Zinc Methionine and Asparate.

To be quite honest with you, there is little difference. Zinc Monomethionine is a 1:1 ratio of Zinc to L-Methionine. Thus the mono before methionine. Does the balance need to be exactly 1:1? Nope.


Bottom line, the NOW! product is Cheaper, has more B6, and is thus a better value. Get the NOW! version.

Hey Raynor, I've got a friend who's a vegetarian and is trying to gain some mass. To my knowledge he eats no meats, fish, or eggs. He's about 5' 10 and 115 lbs I would guess.
Could you give me a sample vegetarian diet/work out plan I could give to him?

Got my adenoidectomy today @ 14h30

It is now 21h45, i got a terrible throat pain other than that everything is okay :)

I got dilaudid for my pain.

hey raynor, I know you said I have 15% bf. So i'll be trying to maintain 15% bf.

Would you say this meal plan would help me maintain 15% bf and still continue to bulk? i'm 5' 8'', 165 pounds right now (was 147 two month ago).
Should I cut out some of the carbs from meal 3?

meal 1 - 2 scoops of whey + 1 cup of oat meal + 1 banana
1 scoop of whey with water post-workout
meal 2 - 200g white pasta /w pasta sauce + 5 eggs + casein /w water
meal 3 - 1/2 lb chicken breast + 2 cup of mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots)+ 2 cup of oatmeal + 3 cups of milk /w 1 scoop of casein
casein with water pre-bed.

i realize i been gaining strength, but at the sametime, i've accumulated a lot of fat compared to what i've had before.

also, could you link me to your keto guide? I wanna start to learn about it now, so when i get to 17 - 18% bf, i can start to cut right away.



Should I do 20 minutes of HIIT to maintain 15% bf with the above diet?

Raynor, ive noticd something strange when i drink on whey rockyroad that i have

It like... burns my tongue.. wtf is that supposd to be?

i dont like it, could it be the added chemicals? i figured on whey is top of the line stuff, next time im getting natural whey , but i still got like 8 lbs of this to go

shins are hurting after running and the pain goes away after a while but when i press on my shins they feel bruised what should i do to help stop this?
