Deloading, when should I do this, how long deload etc?

Why is deloading even good?

Well, I'm currently using that Hypertrophy plan that you gave me before.

I've trained 1 year and about 1 month now, just had 1 week deload in that time :O

I'm trying to bulk btw :D

Ah...okay in that case...every 3-4 months you should take a full week off. Also, at the end of the year you should change up hypertrophy to something different, 5x5, power, etc. This is to ensure the muscles do not become resistant

Ok I'm on BB.com right now about to buy their 10LB NOW! Whey Isolate

What other supplements do you think I should add to my list? I'm bulking until June, then I gotta start my contest prep for my show in September.
I usually take multi's, 2 fish oils, and joint soothers in the AM. I know I should up these amounts but not quite sure how much.

Just trying to improve this bulk as much as possible before I start my contest prep.
Let me know what you think I should buy/use.

I would recommend the following besides what you already take and are buying:

NOW! Vitamin D-3 5,000 iu (take 1 a day to support immune function)
NOW! Vitamin C-1000 (take 2 a day to support immune function and anabolism)
NOW! ZMA (take 3 before bed every night for increased test levels)

that should be enough for you at the moment

Multi's don't have that stuff in it?

And what should my intake be for my other supps? (multi-vit, fish oils, joint soothers)
I'm positive I need more fish oils in my life...lol just not sure on the amounts and when

they are both called ZMA, but one is zinc magnesium aspartate, while the other is zinc monomethionine aspartate. whats the difference? I also noticed the optimum brand seems to have a substantial amount more of people using it, like 10x more (on bb.com) than the NOW brand

i heard that this can help sleep as well is this true?

they do, but not nearly enough.

multi vit should be 2x per day, fish oil 2g with each meal, and joint support should be taken 1-2x per day, usually before bed or first thing in the morning.
