Ronnie Coleman bulks at 6k cals a day.

For him to need 5k cals a day to bulk he's gotta be doing some intense amounts of cardio, thus why I asked.

Realistically, odds are good he doesn't need 5k cals a day, but w/e.

I agree that 5k is a huge amount of cals, and unless trying to... is not needed to clean bulk

BUT

Daily calorie expenditure is NOT based completely off of size. As Neverever stated, he worked his way there.

Im sure Ronnie Coleman can work up to 10k a day if he WANTED TOO.

All it matters is daily expenditure vs daily consumption.

All factors need to be included

- job
- workouts
- metab
- muscle mass
- NEAT (Non exercise activity thermogenisis) <- This plays a huge role (being on your feet all day vs sitting on the couch)

I know a 170lb kid thats @ 5-6% bf eating 4k cals a day, cardio kept @ a minimum.

You're arguing simply for the sake of arguing.

I never said it was impossible, I said he must have an expenditure from something else (i.e. cardio), which he stated he has a very active job.

A little reading comprehension would go a long way for you.

where was I arguing? I agreed that 5k is a lot of calories

I simply was providing info/examples of a high calorie intake vs high calorie expenditure while clean bulking.

I think you need to hop off ur high horse and take a sip of ur own medicine. (ie Reading Comprehension)

There was no reason for your example, you just randomly started citing things that are in essence argumentative towards what I said.

you said Ronnie Coleman only bulks on 6k cals
(Implying since he's so massive and only needs 6k cals, no way Neverever need 5k cals)

I provided an example of a friend = 170lbs @ ~6% eating 4k + cals a day. = not too massive but high daily calories

again i was posting example for sheer interest.

But its w/e, back to "Picture thread"

The work i just started is 3-5x a week, sometimes 5+ hours on my feet, moving and lifting shit. 2 weeks in i noticed myself just getting UBER hungry so much more often...i ate a good 5 full meals today, i can guesstimate @~3k.

I just recently got this uber rush of motivation so rite now i'm taking my training much more seriously. My stats now are my new start. Going to start eating even more towards end of summer, always clean.
