It appears that I pulled a tendon on saturday, and it is still swolen and I can only feel slight shooting pains when use my right arm for anyhting else other than normal task. (under the elbow to bicep/tricep area) I have been resting it and using ice when needed, just curious on the recovery time? I don't want to re injure it, and would like to get back in the gym asap! Thanks.

http://www.ehow.com/i/#article_5669973 Pretty much same stuff morholt advised.

This site seems to cover all the basics, just curious on what weight exercises are best. Also after injuring it sat, side elbow region, I went Monday for chest.. Stopes after feeling sharp pains. Stupid decision to even go, hard headed sometimes.

Great thanks, I'll let you know on my progress. Hopefully I can put on 10 pounds of lean muscle in the next year :D?

10 lbs of lean muscle per year is a great possibility if you keep your diet and routine going.

I do enjoy pasta and eggs from time to time. An unusual combo, but really good! =)

recovery time varies. You can expect 1-2 weeks MINIMUM for proper recovery.

the slow stretches are definitely required after the inflammation has gone down to ensure it returns to a proper state. I would advise you use your own "instinct training" for this one. That means stretch out in the way that you can feel a proper pull in the area(s) that need it the most. Do not overstretch and do not use weight when stretching initially. I really want you to take your time and let the stretch work based on what FEELS right. This is the best way to gauge your proper stretch for this purpose.

I need more details than just "bad shoulders"

Please explain what is wrong with them, any medical limitations, etc.

thanks!

Hey raynor,

Not questioning your judgement. So please take this as another question.

Could you glance over this page? http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/bulkingAndCutting.htm

Scooby is pretty well known on youtube. And what he advocates mostly makes sense. But one thing he says is that bulking up is useless. And that its best to maintain a healthy nutrition and lift hard and be lucky to gain 5 pounds of muscle a year. Eating A TON of food will only add more fat while muscle gain will stay constant regardless... What do you think?
