It appears that I pulled a tendon on saturday, and it is still swolen and I can only feel slight shooting pains when use my right arm for anyhting else other than normal task. (under the elbow to bicep/tricep area) I have been resting it and using ice when needed, just curious on the recovery time? I don't want to re injure it, and would like to get back in the gym asap! Thanks.
recovery time varies. You can expect 1-2 weeks MINIMUM for proper recovery.

This site seems to cover all the basics, just curious on what weight exercises are best. Also after injuring it sat, side elbow region, I went Monday for chest.. Stopes after feeling sharp pains. Stupid decision to even go, hard headed sometimes.
the slow stretches are definitely required after the inflammation has gone down to ensure it returns to a proper state. I would advise you use your own "instinct training" for this one. That means stretch out in the way that you can feel a proper pull in the area(s) that need it the most. Do not overstretch and do not use weight when stretching initially. I really want you to take your time and let the stretch work based on what FEELS right. This is the best way to gauge your proper stretch for this purpose.
