thanks bro, its only just begun :D

I started out with a A/B splits or 2 on 1 off.  I really liked it but the workouts would take ~2hrs and left me with no time for pwo cardio.

So I switched to a 5 day training where I would hit muscles 2x a week

too many sets in your workout then.

stick to 30-36 tops while not going beyond 1h 15mins

5 day training as in 5 day split?

2 hours of a training session is way too long, test levels down the drain. so yeah, that's too many sets.
and a 5 day split is far too advanced to your (or almost anyone here's) level. you can make somewhat use of a 3 day split, but imo stick to a/b splits till you're 3 years into split training in general.

As you get closer to contest your volume should decrease cause you're just going to cut into your lbm at a point.

Excessive Deficit Spending while on a deficit isn't just bad for the economy, it's bad for your body composition.

Gonna have to disagree with 1 thing lightman said. Unlike others, you're dedicated to your diet. He's right about the long training sessions, that's too much. But 5 days is pretty much necessary if you wanna hit your body parts properly. I've been doing 5 days splits and for 2 years I even did 2-a-day, 5 a week (but I recently learned that's probably because of my insane levels of creatinine). 5 days a week has been magical to me and a shitload of other people. Just need to know the importance of deloads.
