Full meet but I injured my tensor fascia latae 7 weeks out and I couldn't recover in time. Still rehabing with glutes exercise so my tensor doesn't take over as much. I'm also on a reduced frequency and volume per training.

I'd like to at least squat 227.5 kg on June 16. Deadlift is not affected as much and if you can get a decent pull with another bench pr I' might get a total PR. ;)

295 pounds squat x6 for 3 sets today. pretty easy even though i'm cutting. pretty happy with the results since i started back on nov 2017

First time what? Squatting?

Lower the weight and work on form, you lost tightness and it looks almost like you had some shearing movement on your way up. Thatโ€™s a sure fire way of fucking reking your back. Also, drive through your hips, I think you made that lift way harder than it needed to be by trying to good morning it.

just with the weight. My ego got ahead of me, there was a guy beside me constantly trying to one up me. you're absolutely right

After I took this, I did just that. I lowered the weight to 315 and did 5 sets 8 reps.

Lifting according to other peoples level of strength will injure you.

Even if you feel it may make you look like a bitch, lift the lower weights. You don't want to be one of those guys who only comes in once a week because they gas themselves out. Or be that guy that doesn't come back because they're injured.

Gradual progression. Balance.
You give your body time to make physiological changes this way as you gradually increase stress.
