If your back hurts, you're doing to much, or not doing it right. A belt won't help that much /w the pain, but it will help you do more weight and use better form b/c you can press on the belt and get tighter(abs)
Well I cant figure out how my form can be wrong, my upper bodly looks like yours in the video, legs spread slightly past shoulder width, toes pointed ever so slightly outward, I look slightly up when I lift, and I lift with my heel and a little bit of the center of my foot.
