hey Raynor,
I'm 6'0, 210 lbs with ~ 20% bodyfat, looking to cut down to 6-8%. My goal is to lose fat without muscle loss.
A trainer at the gym suggested I try CKD, but I'm a little worried low glucose/carbs and brain running on ketones might affect school work (also in med school), so would you recommend CKD or TKD instead? I'm hoping to cut about 30 lbs of fat in 4 months.

On normal diet I cycled between 3 sets of 10 to 4 sets of 7 to 5 sets of 5, 3 week cycles. On keto I'm guessing I should do no more than 3 sets, so maybe 2x10 and 3x8?

thx

My planned supplements:
Fiber gummies
Animal pak on lift days (MWF), Multipro32x or Now ADAM on other days
Fish Oil and Flax seed oil
Joint supp
ZMA
Creatine (pre/post w/o)
BCAA (pre, during, post w/o)

Now, with keto, would it still be safe to use preworkout powder (Jack3D or vassive no)

I also bought these a while ago, before planning on keto diet, would these be ok to use?:
Erase + Alpha-T2 + OxyElite Pro Stack
Inhibit-E

CKD is best, and don't worry about the glucose powering your brain - the brain (as you know) is made mostly of lipids. The best fuel for lipids is more lipids. Your body being in normal glycogen drive is used to glucose and uses it as fuel. Once you are in solid keto, you actually have MORE focus and MORE energy.

All of those are okay, however I would clearly recommend that you be very careful not to take any Pre/post workout supplements that contain citric acid or any amount of sugars. Even the slightest amount of sugar and/or excessive amounts of citric acid can set you out of keto.

besides that, everything else is fine. Make sure to get a 100% whey isolate protein shake w/ 0 carbs or as close to it as possible, mix with heavy cream and enjoy.

3x FWBs is NOT good for cutting. You will actually see negative progress compared to a real cutting routine.
