I got sinus x-rays last week. My doctor said I might have sinus osteoma, might be a benign tumor. I have to go to the hospital to get a new scan because you cannot see it clearly in the x-rays.

I talked to her on the phone, I didn't get any other info...

Is it dangerous? Will I die ? Enlight me on this please

In virtually all cases it turns out to be benign. I have never heard of a malignant tumor osteoma. The procedure for removal is very easy and usually only an outpatient procedure performed with a laser. The laser is used to cut away the excess bone and properly fix the shape of the sinus cavity. The recovery time is approximately 3 days in which you will be miserable. However you will get over it and when you are recovered you will feel MUCH better.

Yes you will die....just not now, and not from the osteoma ;-) - we all will die someday...how long depends on how well you take care of yourself and barring any significant negative event.

Hey raynor, Im thinking of changing up my routine, ive been doin 4 sets for a long time, and id like to work my chest / abs more

here is my current routien

Day 1: Chest, light tricep
bench press, 2 warm up sets and 4 work sets
dumbbell flyes, 4sets
incline dumbbell press, 4 sets
then at end of work out il superset flat dumbell press and tricep pushdowns

Day 2:back,light bicep
Deadlifts, 2 warm up sets, 4 work sets
Dumbbell rows, 4 sets
bicep curls, 4 sets
v-bar pulldowns on machine- 4 sets
bent over barbbell rows-4sets
strait arm pushdowns on machine- 4 sets

Day 3: rest

Day 4: shoulders/traps
lateral raises-4sets
seated military press-4sets
rear delt flyes- 4 sets
Front raises - 4 sets
seated dumbell press- 4 sets
behind back barbell shrugs- 4 sets
Static dumbell shrugs - 4 sets

Day 5: bicep/tricep
barbell curls- 4sets
tricep extensios- 4 sets
dumbbell bicep curls - 4 sets
tricep pushdowns on machine- 4sets
hammer dumbbell curls - 4sets
tricep kick backs- 4sets

Day 6: legs/abs
squats- 4 sets
calf raises- 4 sets
leg raises for abs - 4sets          Now I know this day is lacking in legwork, but Im very limited in what i can do, as i only work out in my basement with some equipment
crunches- 4 sets

Day 7: rest and repeat from day 1

What Im thinking is, training chest more then that 1 day, and abs more then 1 day,

but Im no expert in how to space out the days, I copied this split from burns, and been doing it for many months now at 4 sets, should I start doing 5 sets? and

How would I add more chest workout days and ab workout days, and what days would be best to add it? if im not sore ofcourse

let me know, thanks

Hey raynor, Im currently doing this split, and since then ive uped to 5sets , and train abs AND chest twice a week atm, and do weighted crunches, they work well

but i was wondering , is 5day split the way to go? and good for cutting?
i was thinking about 4day splits , which allow more rest, I think I benefited more from this in the past, as on the 5day split i feel tired all the time, i donno if its from the split or my diet, but, idk

would 4 day split be better for me? if so, which exercises would u combine for each day?

5 day split is superior for cutting to the 4 day split. Stick to 5 days.

Allopathic. Although I am not a cookie cutter student who sticks to only what the books and professors tell us. I go above and beyond and research everything on my own to find out what REALLY works.

I tend to agree a lot of the time that most traditional medicine today (allopathic) is generally not very good as it patches the problem without getting to the root cause itself.

Our surgery techniques, however, are second to none.

Osteopathic receives a DO
Allopathic receives an MD

They are equivalent in most cases - however the DO has a hollistic style of treating, whereas the MD has a symptom based method of treating.

DO is not very common to most people. You will spend a lot of time explaining what it is to people.

However, they receive virtually the same training in medical school with a few exceptions including the DO receiving training for treament of the mind/body/spirit vs the MD treatment of just the body.

I hope this helps!
