Yes I believe in ghosts as some sort of left over bioenergy in this dimension somehow (usually after an angry death) makes them manifest in that specific area. As energy cannot be destroyed, it's simply transferred. And humans are energy/atoms vibrating at a certain frequency, in death the energy stays somehow.

Any person who preaches only for the endgame and not how to get there is useless. If god wanted you to help people, help people, don't just say they're going to hell.

Beyond that, a good Christian at any point has been defined by what it is good for the society and brings hope to misery while at the same time helping the church (in good and bad). So it's just a definition of a good person, with some religious stuff on top of that.
