So, after my most recent post I didn't work out until tonight. GO TEAM FAIL!

Just did some cardio, about 60 min of P90X cardio routine, good God am I out of shape.

Went to the doc on Monday, first blood pressure test resulted in 158/100. 20 mins later with 5 straight mins of rest it came back as 142/85. Still grossly too high.

Glasses are still holding strong. Just posting my progress so I can see where I decided to smarten the fuck up 6 months from now.

Still here. Diet has improved a bit, physical activity has not. Been a hell of a busy time, constant exhaustion.

Even if you do an hour brisk walk a day with stable diet you should see results my friend

Hard as fuck to keep a damn normal diet, I'm weak for junk food.
Gained weight, not in a good way.

Look at it like an addiction or a downfall of your being. If you can't control your eating habits, what else in your life can you not control? Not being rude, just saying examine yourself. You may find that you're more capable than yourself. Find someone IRL to hold you accountable brother you got it. Takes time to build a habit, but habits becomes natural. You can do it!

I was able to quit smoking 2 packs a day for 12 years Cold turkey about 4 years ago. Idk why this is so much harder. I don't have anyone irl that's actually supportive. It's all doubt and shit.

It might not be supportive in a traditional sense, but frequenting this subforum gives me motivation to go to the gym like 3-4 times a week. I'm lazy as fuck compared to most of the ppl here - I train half assed and I don't particularly enjoy working out like they do but I know it's a good habit to have.

I want to get in to it, idk what is holding me back. I REALLY need to get my diet in check. I have another kid on the way, gonna need to be able to chase it around. Maybe I'll start with walking the dog for longer than 5 minutes.
