Yeah thats alright advise... but the withdraw symptoms are psychical so there for they are not only in your head... How you deal with the psychical symptoms mentally plays a huge part though.
The mental part mostly makes your physical withdrawals. You feel anything "weird" you automatically think it's because of the not having nicotine.

quality advice from quality post
Of course people who smoke say/do whatever to justify their smoking. how is this news?
I was brainwashed to smoking - in fact everyone (even the non-smokers) are brainwashed that quit smoking is somehow hard.
Same goes if you're addicted to let's say gambling - You'll get pissed when someone points out what you're doing, this doesn't require a phd to understand.

i actually felt pretty bad for a few days, i still get cravings but its few and far between now
Yeah I still get cravings after 8 months, but they are over as soon as they come - because I know that smoking wouldn't help ANYTHING it would actually make everything worse

I had also somewhat "symptoms" but then after reading the book I learned that it's all mental thing. Nicotine is a drug and you're addicted to it - ofc you want more when it's about to run out.
Just remember after 48 hours all the nicotine has vanished from your body and the real healing begins from there

Only way to recovery is to look smoking from a different perspective.
