Do you know what Norwegians used to call this haircut when it was all the rage back in 2011-12?( Before the rest of the world adopted)

It was called a "party svenske".

My grand father had that haircut somewhere around 1940...

I believe it started around 1920s.

At least James Darmody had that hair cut in Boardwalk Empire (situated right after the events of WWI)

Then I think it was pretty common as Hitler Jugend and stuff in WWII and not used since then.

then it came back in Scandinavia (I don't know if it was Sweden or Norway who started it but we call it a party swede)

Since most people hadn't seen it since WWI/WWII it was pretty much forgotten and I remember the flood of gay comments online about it (from merica and rest of Europe)

then ~ 2012 football players and other celebs starting cutting like that and now 2014 every one fucking has this hair cut

Haha me neither. Some of my friends spend 30-60 minutes on their hair, I can never spend more than 5 minutes. The effort does pay off though if you want to look like a hollywood celeb that's just been styled.

I know it seems pointless as fuck but each product has a purpose.. volume, stiffness, wetness, shine etc.. A friend does this IRL every morning before school:

Wash hair 5 min --> apply coconut oil --> wash hair again --> dry hair 5 min --> apply hair spray --> comb + blow dry 10 min --> apply product --> ruin hair again --> apply another product --> spend 15 mins perfecting with comb
