13 months of bed rest that is crazy. how did you maintain your sanity?

Depending on cardio an hour to an hour and a half. I do very little rest between sets to keep my heart rate up.

Pilonidal Cyscestomy. I had 3 fistulas that went from a cyst on the base of my spine to the surface of my skin. Had a 6 inch long incision that went all the way down to the spine that had to heal from the inside out with weekly silver nitrate cauterizations.

D2, Xbox 360, movies, and friends got my through it all. Not to mention over 3,000 assorted pain pills.

you ever try sumo deadlifts? i tried it in place of regular deadlifts and could feel it better on my legs
I thought it was a back exercise but felt it in my legs mostly.

Yeah sometimes I do both. For the time being I prefer the conventional lift. After I hit 3 plates I'll probably do more sumo.

Supermutant (ridiculously jacked dude at my gym) was deadlifting beside me today while I was squating and he was pounding out sets of 7 plates full rom.
