What the fuck? I've never seen that? That might sound reasonable'ish if you do equipped lifting, but if you compete raw you will most likely flunk.
Friend of mine competed last friday and the coach she has told all his lifters to do openers like 10 days prior - everybody performed way worse than planned cause they had no ''groove'' for heavy weights.
I'd say you should do 5-7 days prior to comp unless you have really shitty recovery...
