well after doing 4-5 sets of barbell curls on like the 3rd set of db curls i could get the 45s for around 6-7(last week or 2)
so what could i get on hammers assuming i've done them about..3-4 times ever haha

that is what I do, then concentration curls at the end

See i had never done hammers and have pretty big arms..i had always thought of them as a shitty exercise..guess i was wrong :lol:

i was doing

barbell curls, alternating db curls, then either concentrations or cable curls

4 sets each

you were doing all the same exercise just with different weights. About the same as doing chest like this:

barbell bench press, dumbbell bench press, smith machine bench press, cable chest press.

hmm really?

well the alternating db curls i do start from a neutral position and twist them as i go up, but i can see similarities :P

but yeah barbell curls, then hammers, then preachers(with ez-bar) would all be different

when you do preachers, do close grip as well.
