Thats why I said just bar... you cant possibly get hurt lifting the bar, unless you are ultra weak :O

well, no, i get that. but my understanding of the exercise at this point is that you rest the bar on your shoulder region, not sure exactly how that works yet. put my feet shoulder width apart (maybe, i think?) then essentially sit down and stand up. but that is all i know..and i'm not sure if that is even correct.

The creatine monster is inside of me

The titanic theme song has been in my head all day, gonna do some serious front squats tonight, all this talk has got me pumped.

@ afficiando - I didn't do squats for like my first 2 years of lifting. I randomly did a little leg press, but mainly was an upper body warrior. Hell I was more a chest bi guy, turned upper body warrior, turn squatter and last I got on dat der DL's.

From memory of your pics? You have a decent body and I'd probably let u plow me, I don't really know where I'm going with this I stopped right there and day dreamed a bit. But when you start squatting it's the best feeling, you feel great, you feel strong, core strength bounds, you feel like you actually lift, you look more so that you actually lift, people look at you in the gym and think wow this guy is a professional body builder in the making cos he's doing that excercise there with the bar on his back, I'd never do that cos 'I don't want to get too big' 'I don't want big legs, just toned legs'

But if that's not enough I can feed you some sweet brosience which is enough to make me keep doing them

Legs being your biggest muscle and training them releases more GH around the body Abd blah blah bro science you become over all stronger blah blah other lifts go up etc blah

Plus u always get a sense of 'son I am proud' when u see someone else squatting at your gym (won't be many if any). And also a wow u suck but sleazy you're trying feeling when u see someone doing 1/4 squats

I think you gain some special sense of comradory with other lifters when ou start squatting, it's like initiation into the , yes I actually lift crew

Just ask a pt to show you how to squat. That's what I did. Also did that for deadlifts and standing military press
