You are trying to excuse your lack of knowledge as a derivative to avoid one of the best functional exercises there is.
Online instructive videos, as well as reading on the basics of kinesiological occurrences during squatting and how to apply them to one's routine should not be beyond any individual's reach.
You could simply state that you don't want to do it, but you cannot hide behind this line of reasoning, specifically when you are an individual who frequents a lifting-focused sub forum.
i think you're missing the point. I HAVEN'T LEARNED HOW. i'm not saying i'm not going to learn how or can't learn how. my reasoning for not squatting yet is that i have not learned how to safely perform the exercise...

No such thing as not knowing how to squat... What a pathetic excuse. Grab an empty bar and get your ass squatting. You learn from failure.
well i don't know how to do one safely with weights. i would rather learn how first, and then if i fail i fail.

I suppose, however seeing as he is here quite frequently, as stated, clearly he must have seen or heard how to do squats... Doesn't make sense how you can frequent a place, talk so much, try and give advice, and not know a fairly basic exercise.
i know a tiny bit about calisthenics, but i know very little about weightlifting, which is what this sub-forum seems to be geared towards.
