I'm doing both but my next big meet in Powerlifting is only in November so I have plenty of time. I'll be working on weeknesses and I doubt I'll lose anything with this kind of training. Squat and Deadlift will benefit from all that pulling and squatting and I'll still be pressing a lot.


Also I'm being coached by a 2 times Olympian so overall I think it's a great move.

Take your 1 rep max, if i told you in 2 and a half years you could now rep it for 5, would you be happy?


For Americans: 200 kg = 440 lb. 140 kg = 308 lb
