If you'd like videos...I'd be glad to record them at the gym on my cell phone.

Not really. I haven't had a partner in over a year, and have been on a steady maintenance cycle. My straight-leg deadlift has gone up however. I hit 455 for 6 reps the other day.

What grip?

Edit: In before Pinti says you can't do it.

Let me know what you think about a good diet for me. I would need like a very detailed one at that like what times to eat and what to eat and such. I have access to lots of stuff, I.E. food and what not. I will just have to go buy it.

Also I usually only take the weight gainer like once a day, sometimes not even that. I'm just trying to get rid of it right now, only protein supplement I have. tongue.gif I take it after I workout though for the simple sugars and of course proteins. wink.gif

Thanks a lot man.

left hand was underhand and right hand was overhand with standard harbinger lifting straps.

When deadlifting/rackpulling for reps and sets, should I alternate my grip? I don't have straps (some people recommanded me not to use them) and I start to strugle with my grip and heavy sets

I would not alternate grip on deadlift, keep the same reverse grip for every set. you will eventually get use to it.

I don't see how alternate grip isn't good...it allows me to do more weight, and more reps without having to re grip the bar. If just warming up, then double overhand's fine.

Alternate grip is supreme for lifting more weight. Alternate grip allowed the weight to be spread with better balance between the arms in a position of comfort. Strapping up amplifies this effect. Alternating grip for straight leg deadlifts is ultimate.

For non-straight leg deadlifts and I am not trying to set a PR
Just for my sets, still the way to go?
