^ SS is good, and Rip knows his stuff. Don't take it as gospel, and by that I mean that Rip teaches main lifts at an advanced, world-class level (and he does it with humor, fk yeah!), but you also want to explore every bit of good information you can. In my XP, a lot of people begin & end with SS, and I just wanted to caution you about it. I trust you are curious and that you will stay curious. I see SS as an almost ideal starting point because it not only explains the lifts but really digs down into why they should be done a certain way.

+1: my garage-to-gym reno is still going on ... in case anyone who heard about it is curious about whether it's happening or not. It's at the +electric stage, where the electricians need to re-do everything, partly because I want it to look and function better, and partly because post-1970s code demands it that way. F*cking old homes ... I'll have to post pics once she's ready
