Promote or prevent? :PpPppPpP

Gym looks awesome bruh, makes me wanna move back home and start train at a real club again.
Is it mainly for OL or are there a PL section with real bench/rack aswell?

gimme some tips on pulling sumo switching from conventional

Form seems good at light weight (315 and under) but personal bar and gym bars have no gnurling in the middle and I try to avoid straps currently

What queues do you guys use when switching from conv. that are similar for sumo?

I'm trying to work in sumos to help build up adductor abductor without using the sissy machine

^ SS is good, and Rip knows his stuff. Don't take it as gospel, and by that I mean that Rip teaches main lifts at an advanced, world-class level (and he does it with humor, fk yeah!), but you also want to explore every bit of good information you can. In my XP, a lot of people begin & end with SS, and I just wanted to caution you about it. I trust you are curious and that you will stay curious. I see SS as an almost ideal starting point because it not only explains the lifts but really digs down into why they should be done a certain way.

@ Aube: I like the clean look and spacing in that gym.

+1: my garage-to-gym reno is still going on ... in case anyone who heard about it is curious about whether it's happening or not. It's at the +electric stage, where the electricians need to re-do everything, partly because I want it to look and function better, and partly because post-1970s code demands it that way. F*cking old homes ... I'll have to post pics once she's ready :)

I've been interning at a strength and conditioning gym and they're letting me train for free and building me a program.

I'm having insane anxiety they aren't going to build the program how I want. First phase is 3-4 wks and it's a foundation phase... I want to believe in the process but also worried I'm wasting time. So nervous, first non internet program I've done.

Don't get me wrong. The owner knows his stuff but the clientele are more beginners... I've seen only one guy my entire time interning there and I only squat 315 and bench 225...

just go with the flow bro it's all part of the process, you'll learn something regardless, either about yourself or how to train
