That was a good day for me.

Yeah I've got some trouble these days with both squat and deadlift. This prep is not as good as last one.

Good thing bench is going great!

B3W3D6 - 14 Days Out
SUNDAY
Paused Bench:
2x 147.5 kg/325 lbs https://www.instagram.com/p/BMMqd0ODYA9/
3x3x 134 kg/295 lbs

CG Bench:
3x3x 134 kg/295 lbs

I'm mirin' the bench.

Also an odd question but what are your thoughts, if any, on the Atlantis racks? You're using one in the bench above. I need to buy an extra rack for the gym I'm building so I've been looking around. Looking for something compact (no more than 8x8 footptrint), strong, and with as much stuff on it as possible (chin, weight unicorns, squat + bench ofc) without sacrificing quality. Taking suggestions from anyone/everyone.

Ideally something relatively cost-effective because I don't lease/rent anything and our budget is already growing.

edit: I'll make a power rack topic sometime soon but feel free to answer on racks here (anyone's/everyone's input is wanted) until it's up :)

Atlantis racks is fine, one of the gym I've trained in had their ''half-racks'' and they can support over 300kg squats without problem.

They seem alright but it looks like I'd need to call in for pricing. Will do if I don't find an alternative I like equally or better.

A couple of those reps were pure silk. Looking better. I need to start squats again. Took time off after slipped disc and then a hip/piriformis injury. Now I need to work my way back up, probably need to work with 225 or maybe 275 for a few weeks before I man up a bit into the 300+ range.

e: cool home gym story but my wife hates when I leave 45s on. I use 45s to warm-up so I set it that way at the end, but she doesn't like de-loading 45s. She could easily handle 135 but she is dedicated to not squatting with resistance :( I've been encouraging her to fatten dat ass with squats.

First update in quite some time. Been doing some volume for the last month after fucking around the whole summer and just started lifting a bit heavier now. Goal is to hit 272.5kg this year if I weigh around 90kg so I maintain my 3x bw DL from last year.
200kg/440lbs x2, last set here.
Dunno how much the band adds.

Well, it must be Christmas because my wife asked me to give her a tutorial on the squat tonight.

She has been dodging it for years, although she has toyed with it a bit in recent times. gz to her. She also learned the OH press today along with a new version of the lat pull-down (i.e., the option of supinating pull-downs).

@ PlaaD: pretty sweet DL set up there. Also, well done on the reps :)
