as far as protein shakes go....depends on what you want.

If you want to bulk, get cytogainer. If you want to gain some lean muscle and add a little bit of weight, get muscle milk. If you are trying to lean out, get Optimum 100% whey.

Yes. Be very concerned with sodium. Try to avoid getting any more than 3g (3,000mg) per day. Excess Sodium leads to water retention, high blood pressure, electrolyte imbalance, and risk of heart attack and stroke.

do not do pushups prior to lifting. It will cut out a lot of your strength for dumbells. Stick to Dumbell Press then Dumbell flies for a nice little compound. You can do pushups at the END of your chest workout to blow the chest out and increase blood volume there for more pump and better gains.

Is mixing NO- Shotgun, creatine mono, and whey protein all together with apple juice making one of them ineffective? If not, I'm just gonna do that from now on and chug the absolutely disgusting taste down

so basically if i take NO-explode before every workout and drink plenty of water i should become stronger?
and how long will 1.81 lbs last me if i work out about 4-5 days a week

dont do that.

first of all....heres how it should be.

NO Shotgun BEFORE a workout

creatine monohydrate IMMEDIATELY after workout mixed with apple juice

right after drinking the creatine, drink the whey protein shake.


this is the correct way to absorb everything. Also taking protein with no-shotgun has a nullifying effect. If you do these steps you will be fine and maximize your results.

not exactly. no-explode won't make you stronger. It will energize you prior to a workout and enable you workout with more vigor. Therefore it can theoretically maximize your results. All other claims by BSN about no-explode are bullshit. Its basically a ton of caffeine and some creatine with lots of artificial shit.

i am 5'7 120, i dont want to be some kind of bodybuilder i just want to put on some muscle for soccer
i only work out about 4-5 times a week

CYTOGAINER once in the morning and one after a workout in addition to plenty of good food throughout the day.

that and a multivitamin is all you will need (NOW! Adam is the best multi you can get)

Hey man...

So my aunt wants me to start training her...she's about 5'3 and weighs 172 (yeah pretty heavy.) Most of it is from drinking beer and not eating enough and not eating healthy...

She is done drinking beer and she wants to lose about 40 lbs in 9 months which should be pretty easy for the most part. What foods should I be telling her to eat....? I told her to buy real whole wheat bread...not the stuff that says whole wheat flour. Could you tell me why this bread is better for her?

How much should I have her eating, and when? And about how much protein/carbs/fats per meal/per day?
