what's your thoughts on DAA?(d-aspartic acid)

Not enough thorough research on DAA for it to be considered safe or effective.

Some studies have shown that it actually causes damage to nerve receptors and even stimulates prolactin.

Other studies have shown that it can increase testosterone levels and decrease recovery time

I personally do not, and never have used it. There simply isn't enough credible research on DAA for extended use in human subjects for me to give you a go ahead or a no go.

Proceed at your own risk.

Hey brah, how do you usually deload (don't remember seeing this question here)? I used to just take a week off, but I feel alright enough to go to the gym and lift some weights.

Should I just go lift but at like 60%~ of my maxes? I've been going 5 days a week for 7 weeks with no breaks except for the weekends ;o

Deloading is generally not advised until you hit the 12-15 week mark. I recommend a solid 1 week total break after 12-15 weeks of constant training. After that 1 week mark, begin a new routine (even with the same goals) just switch up sets/reps or exercises, etc. Doing this several times per year is very effective.

Also on the 1 week deload period, make sure to get off all supplements, including multivitamins and just stick to whole foods and lots of rest.

When the 1 week is up, begin the new workout plan and supplements as usual. Either way 12-15 weeks has proven to be the most effective time to begin a deloading phase.

Hey raynor, I want to start cutting now, but Im pretty clueless when it comes to this cutting thing

Now, I weight 240-250, it changes alot (shrug)

but, I would like to get down to a bodyweight that suits me for my height, also a weight that gives me a good mixture of bulk and definition

I currently eat 4 good size meals a day, sometimes 5

I thought about cutting out carbs, and doing a keto diet, but again, idk much about any of that, Id rather not do keto, because ive heard bad things about it being bad for ur kidneys and such, and it also doesnt seem like it would be a healthy way to lose weight

What should I do diet wise? Idk how much calories/carbs I should take in or anything

need serious help, thanks

Yes there is.

First of all, cook all of your meats in olive oil. Secondly put olive oil on your salads and veggies. Thirdly, eat whole eggs every day. Also, make sure to eat fatty fish (if you like it) like salmon. Dairy is also a decent source of fat...make sure to get some full fat cheese or milk every day. Also some protein bars contain a lot of good fat like VPX Vero Impact Bars, Bionutritional Power Crunch Bars, or Oh Yeah! Wafer bars. You can also take NOW! Super Omega 3-6-9 supplements, and also add a TBSP or two of coconut oil to your protein shakes.

With all of this in mind you can easily hit 80-100g of fat (depending on what you need)

anabolic cutting diet

I saw what u wrote, but wouldnt the numbers be different for me as I am 20 pounds heavier then em?

I also Do my own 5 day split (burns split) But with no cardio atm, I will when I start this tho, any advice on what cardio I shoud do? my only options would be riding a bike at this time, (until I get a gym membership) (I ran for a few weeks, but I had problems with pain in my shin area, so i stoped)

Also, how much grams of protein should I be taking in every day?, would it be different on carb days / cheat day

I dont have whey atm, but Im going to get some to get some when I start : http://www.powergymplus.com/Product.php?productid=1&page=1
is that brand ok?

those are all the questions I have, thanks again

I'm currently doing the anabolic diet so this is where most of my fats would come from I assume.

Whole Eggs
Olive oiled chicken
Cheese
and about how many fats does 3-6-9 supplements give because im taking those right now.
