And why is that?
The only thing I've been told to improve by current coach (ex-russian lifter who has totaled 181/219) is using more legs and start going a bit deeper in the catch on heavier weights.

Please be more specific about what you mean.

What about working the negative? Or is that not needed as much on deadlift? I've heard it both ways. It's a waste of energy and the other being it strengthens stabilizer muscles. I've also read it can get you hurt easier.
