what exercise is the most practical for  functional strength? or does it depend on like the function

It really depends on what kind of strength we're talking about...and what kind of function.

If you wanted to hit ALL muscle groups with one exercises I'd probably say that doing a deadlift + into a clean + then into a front squat + push press at the top (slightly arched back) + skullcrusher at the top of that + back down to the bottom of push press position + into cheat olympic curl, back down to the floor and repeat it is the ONLY way to achieve this...and even then you are majorly neglecting all of the muscle groups...

However, you can easily do nothing but Bench Press, Squats, and Deadlifts and be obscenely strong in virtually all aspects. The reason for this is that all 3 of those exercises utilizes MANY muscle groups and causes monstrous amounts of hypertrophy when done properly. Also GH levels increase substantially with these exercises opposed to others.

I don't recommend it either, don't worry ;)
It's for a task and I have to do it.

I'd rather split it in 2 days or more but I can't :(

roger that, good luck!

does finnish sauna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_sauna) can help you with small amount of loose skin to tighten it up?

and whens the best time to go for it? cuz i have time after my training.. and for how long should i sit in there?

No, unfortunately sweating has nothing to do with fat loss.

You will lose water weight however, which could improve your look prior to a contest (if you are looking to compete).

However for pure fat loss, saunas don't do anything useful except heat up the body (which technically helps increase fat metabolism - although it would take dangerously long in the sauna for any real results)

read your notes many times, before going to sleep helps memorise better.
to learn something I read it, then say it a few times then it stays in my head.

+ study in the same setting that you will be taking your test in. Ex: it'd be best to study in the same desk + no noise, just like if you were taking the test (or as close to it).

First of all...take notes on the textbook as well as any other components of the class, emphasizing concepts that you don't already know or have memorized.

Create mnemonics of vocab terms and things to remember. Example would be: To remember ABC's (prehosptial emergency care for EMTs/Paramedics) Airway, Breathing Circulation - remember that ABC's are the first thing you learn in school, and thus the ABC's of care also always come first. (shitty example, but the best I could come up with randomly)

Next, type up your notes on the PC (if you haven't done that already) and arrange them into easy to remember and easy to read sentences. Bullet key points, and bold vocab words. Print it out and study from it religiously. Commit to at least 1-2 hours a day.

Another great thing for some people is flash cards. Get some plain index cards and write the questions on one side and answers on the other. Do something like "This bone is the largest and strongest bone in the body" for the Question. The on the back the answer should say "The Femur"

Once you do all of these things and make it a habbit to study at least 1-2 hours a day with AT LEAST 20 minutes before bed every night, you will be in good shape.

Hi, I was wondering if you could give me advice on whether I should start bulking this winter. A little bit about me... I hardly ever exercised and never really lifted weight until the the summer before my freshmen year of college. I was around 170-175 pounds with rough 20-22% body fat. Its been roughly a year since I've been working out 5-6 days a week switching from 5x5 routines to three splits (chest tri, back bi, shoulders legs) and now back to madcows 5x5 for about 8 weeks now. Right now, as a sophemore, I fluctuate between 155-160 pounds and with approximate body fat of 14-16%. I'm doing cardio four times a week along with me three days a week and I'm having trouble losing the last small bit of belly/hip fat. I eat 6-8 times a day and have a good understanding of proper dieting for cutting. But I was just wondering if you think it would be a good idea to bulk and gain some muscle since i have been stalled for so long on losing my desired 2-3% of body fat.

I have access to a great meal plan at my university, so food is not a problem. I would greatly appreciate some advice

It doesn't really make any difference. There are a lot of schools of thought regarding the ingestation of varying macros at different times. However science to date has not shown any hard evidence that combining macros makes any difference. So overall, there is no difference.

Acne on the stomach can be from a number of things. Keep the area clean. You might have a tendency to sweat there more than other regions. Also, your shirts may be too tight and causing too much friction on the area and depriving it of necessary free flowing air.

Try all cotton shirts, larger shirts, shower more frequently, and lastly you can try witch hazel or hydrogen peroxide 2x per day on the area.
