How can I loose weight, I've been like 50 pounds over my whole life. I am 20 Years old.

I hate the gym, but once I get into it I cant stop. But I always end up failing every year, stopping 4-5 mo later..

If you're looking for inspiration you need to set smaller and more attainable goals, maybe one every 2-3 weeks or so. Once you achieve and hopefully surpass your goal, set another one.

Another method is to follow a very strict diet and exercise routine, but also include a once every week cheat meal....you get one meal where you can eat whatever you want.

Lastly, it would help if you took pictures of yourself once a month to record your progress and put them on your wall/mirror. Look at the pics every night, and then look at a BEFORE pic of yourself next to a pic of someone you are striving to look like so you can see what you want to be, and what you don't ever want to be again.

No relevance to weightlifting knowledge..? Yes that is what i am saying.
And no, he doesn't know more than I.

lol

seems like everyone here isn't interested in you bigbon.

The point of my wall of text before was to illustrate that even despite huge setbacks, major inconveniences in life, bad luck, and otherwise nearly impossible stumbling blocks, I've manged to achieve more than you ever will even without all the glorious opportunities you are fortunate enough to have.

Don't squander your existence being an e-thug. There are much more productive things out there to do I assure you.

Lastly, you can just forget about replying...really no point because I've said everything that needs to be said.

Keep living in your fantasy world...I'm sure your broscience will pay off some day...actually I hear the crew from the jersey shore needs a personal trainer.

All I hear in your post is gibberish, gtfo. You're not welcome here. No one will be directing their questions to you. Douchebags/faggots like you are the reason why jsp's maturity is so low.

This is Raynor's thread, so yes, only he can answer the questions. And let's face it, he knows more than you will ever know, and has proven so in this thread answering hundreds of people's questions diligently.

You're saying that his perfect GPA in med school has no relevance? Seriously?

What a pathetic troll.

I wonder how its possible you can fit so much fail into a single post.

wheat bran? i know it's good for you.. but where and how to use it? :) also it costs like 0.23 USD for 200 grams at my country.. has insane amounts of fiber and stuff :)

Yes! Wheat Bran is great stuff. It's used primarily in cereals and baked goods (like bran muffins). It's very high in fiber and wheat protein as well as B vitamins/Iron/Zinc.

If you want to have about 1 cup a day, that would be very healthy. The taste is something to get around as plain wheat bran is not the greatest for flavor. Moreover, if you are on a cutting diet or keto, I would avoid for the obvious carbohydrate loadout. But if carbs are a GO in your diet, then wheat bran is great stuff.

I weigh about 270 pounds. I'm 21 years old. 6'4"

I'm looking to lose some weight. And get into shape. I'm going to start the P90x workout here in a couple days.

I'm concerned on what to eat. I work 10 hours a day. So I only eat twice during those 10 hours. I wake up at 5am. And my lunch is at 11am.
What should I eat everyday for Breakfast when I wake up. and I need something I can keep in my car, in a cooler, or lunchbox that I can eat for lunch without cooking or heating up. Something easy.
Do you have any suggestions? Anything will help. Thanks :D

hey there.

First of all, you really need to be eating more than 2x per day.

If you bring a cooler to work and have a lot of foods, you will need to be eating smaller meals every 2-3 hours without fail. This is IMPERATIVE for both fat loss and muscle building as it keeps your metabolism going strong.

I recommend the following foods to bring to work with you in a cooler that you can eat throughout the day. I will also list breakfast first:

Breakfast - 3 whole eggs + 1 cup oatmeal + 1 cup milk + 1 large fruit (banana/apple/etc)
Meal 2 (2-3 hrs later) - 4 stalks celery + peanut butter + 1 cheese stick
Meal 3 (2-3 hrs later) - Roasted chicken breast + 1 cup green veggies + 1 cup brown rice
Meal 4 (2-3 hrs later) - 4 oz beef jerky + 1 oz cheese + 1 cup green veggies
Meal 5 (2-3 hrs later - sliced turkey/ham/roast beef/chicken + handful of mixed nuts + 1 cup green veggies
Meal 6 (1 hr before bed approx) - 1 cup cottage cheese + mixed nuts + cinnamon

I don't have the option to eat every 2-3 hours. I can eat when I wake up. I wake up at 5am. I have to be at work at 6am. Then I get a lunch at 11pm. I can't leave the factory until then. I have to keep my cooler in the car. And I get a 30 minute lunch. Then after that, I get off work at 4:30. I can eat again. Then I can wait to have dinner until around 6ish. And Then eat something around 8ish. Then bed at 9. Anything I can do to work around that schedule?

Hey Raynor, would continuously doing the same amount of cardio after every work out reduce it's benefits in comparison to doing another type of cardio? Currently I'm HIIT biking for 30 minutes after a workout, 4-5 days a week. I still have to push myself hard, which I think is always a good sign.

Hey.

I've been lifting for about a year. My question mainly is about my routine.

I've been done a few different routines, but for the past about 3 months ive been doing a split as follows

Chest-tri

Back-bi

Shoulders-traps

Legs-abs

Rest days 1-2 days a week (wherever they happen to fall)

I've heard before that changing up your routine is important. I do vary my exercises on each day (for example, on a chest day i always do 5 chest exercises, but one day i may do DB incline another i may do BB incline, Dips vs. BB decline, etc.)

I was wondering if you would suggest for me to keep this pattern (same muscle days, but varied exercises) or change up the days completely

I've had friends who do apposing muscle group workouts (such as Back-Tri, then chest-bi) and they say it's pretty intense.

IDK what to do, any advice would be appreciated.

Well do your best in that case.

Eat meal 1 at 5am, eat meal 2 at 11am, then eat meal 3 at 4:30pm, and meal 4 at 6:30pm, then meal 6 at 8:30pm.

You will be skipping meal 5.....so remember meal 6 is cottage cheese and that should be eaten prior to bedtime.

Sorry I thought I had replied to this post? that's pretty strange...maybe I forget to press add reply...anyway...

I always recommend alternating types of cardio for maximum calorie burning by not allowing your muscles get used to any one particular type of cardio.

try treadmill + elliptical as well as the bike and alternate them.
