In other news, been studying a massive amount of neuroscience lately
enoying it a lot too.. the subject is so much more enthralling than other avenues of biology (imo).. I can definitely tell this is what I'd like to go into professionally, am excite! This undergrad shit is literally an utter waste of time  :wallbash: very very frustrating.

Could rant about it for awhile
sad that students that know exactly what they want to do and breeze through undergrad have to go through the same vapid, droning bullshit.

"Effect of dietary macronutrient composition on AMPK and SIRT1 expression and activity in human skeletal muscle."

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22674476

high fat and low carb causes greater increases in activated AMPK, SIRT1 and PGC1 alpha than high carb/low fat.

Taking MCAT this january before it changes for 2015
by then I'm about to graduate (started 4th year today) so meh, might as well finish now. I'd prefer to be starting medical school today rather than undergrad, I think I'm more than ready, but I'll just be patient I guess. I have the rest of my life

I just get in very impatient moods until I sit back and really think about how easy school is now and how I really have no need for stress, hardships etc in life lol

thats my point, if you feel youre ready than apply to a canadian school. the requirements barely pass first year science programs.

an undergrad means nothing if you have your md. it really is just wasted time unless you REALLY lack an understanding of the physiology of the body, and a few years of experience/thinking time
