Hit 325x2x2 on squat. Finished my cut , gonna slowly reverse diet at 100 cals a week until I'm at maintainence and stay there for a bit

Nice man, hitting new numbers and breaking PR's is big balls feels. How long did you cut? Seems like just recently you were trying to cut even harder, goals change? Is 325x2x2 a PR? If so, you're breaking PRs while cutting/in a deficit? NIIIIICE

I cut for about 9-10 weeks , went from 183ish-167.

Playing sports is too hard in a deficit especially when it's intense like ball hockey. As long as I only aim for .5-1lb gain a month I should maintain my abs all year.

Right on, is 325 for however many a PR? Definitely feel you on the lethargy from lack of food when playing sports. Just curious if you were seeing strength while cutting. I've always been interested to see how someone would respond to normal protein intake (1:1) strength wise at a minor surplus.

I don't think I really saw any gains except in squat. Rest basically was maintained.

Also i think the key was it was a pretty short cut compared to how long I usually go and my BF was lower than usual when I started
