facts? What facts were stated to disprove what i said? All i said was turn your feet out a bit, speaking from personal experience that was all it took to prevent me from scraping my shins on sumo and conventional so IDK what the huge deal is, its not like i said make your feet parallel with the fucking bar, i said turn them outward slightly (or slightly more if you already do). So try it out or dont i dont give two fucks just trying to help his shitty ass deadlift.

external rotation in the feet leads to navicular drop or collapsed foot arch, which sets off a cascade of undesired slack through the knee and hip. promotes acl tear and general medial knee damage, internal rotation and impingement of the hip, lumbar flexion in the bottom of the squat. its generally just horrible for you if you're unfamiliar with human biomechanics

You will never clean all the blood off the bar even with disinfectant. gross

All those pro deadlifters use their own barbell 90% of the time.

this must be one of those scenarios where it "can" be bad for you but shit rarely happens to the people who do it unless they dont know how to condition themselves for a heavy load. Take for example all of the squatting done at westside barbell, these mother fuckers all have their toes pointed way out to the sides but westside barbell has virtually no injuries because they do an insane amount of GPP.

Westside has no injuries? Geared lifters are probably the most injured powerlifters.

geared lifters yes, geared lifters from westside? not many if any. The amount of GPP work they do for posterior chain and upper body is insane, not to mention most of them are on gear so they simply build a massive work capacity in the prime movers of the big 3, and rarely get injured despite the fact that they max out twice a week (one upper one lower) on similar movements to the big 3. If you dont know much about westside maybe give it a look.

Just look at Louis Simmons multiples surgeries and joint replacements. Westside guys are pretty underground...they just don't talk about it. Multiply geared lifting is dying anyways.

Westside is suboptimal for natty and raw lifter. Other form of conjugate methods are better for this but it's still not my cup of tea. You can see by the number of conjugate athletes who do well in the IPF...next to none.
