It really should be illegal for a woman to do what was done to the OP. If it were a lie in another area of life, say business, it would be fraud.
Why isn't it when a woman is lying to get someone to father (and in the case of it not working out, PAYING with MONEY) a child that isn't his or pay child support. To me, that is the definition of injustice.

OP you're fucked unless you get legal documentation of your wife signing to agree you don't need to pay child support, and even then; courts don't give a fuck about you two. They want to make sure the child can be raised decently.

E/ OP's best choice is to "lose" his job, be homeless, jobless, etc for 3 years; prove that the biological father can support kid better then he can.

But OP you're in for a rough ride. Your ex has you and the courts wrapped around her finger. She cries out saying that you wanted to be the father etc and you're slapped 1k a month for support.

EE/ OP you either forfeit custody/sign off all parental rights or you may be fucked.

Ask your attorney what she's legally entitled to. Alimony may only be temporary until she starts working.
