I bet none of you have experienced working from 8 am one day to 5 am the next day, then sleeping on the floor for a few hours until 8 am and resuming the next work day.

I did this at least 5 times earlier this year. Most of the time though I would work until at least 2 am then take a 1 hour bus ride home pass out at home for a few hours at the office and then wake up and take another 1 hour commute back to work.

I can't even count the number of times being focused on work made me skip meals either ...

Was it worth it? Hell no. I don't even make a lot of money. I did it because I wanted to achieve perfection and show my bosses how dedicated I am to getting work done and meeting deadlines regardless of how unrealistic the deadlines were.

But now I'm taking time off work to travel and do what I love. When I go back I will refuse to work the hours I did previously. I want a normal life and I will work the 9-5 and that's it.

One way is to get a 4 year engineering degree, and land a job in San Jose making 100k a few years out of college.  Then you get to spend 4 hours/day for your commute.  No thank you.

for 9 months I worked 14 hours per day, 7 days per week, that's 96 hour work week.

you get used to working ~ 100 hour weeks pretty fast as long as you don't have a family it aint bad imo.

wake up 6 am - work til 8pm (obviously ate breakfast, lunch, dinner @ work) Even went to the gym at work

8pm - 10pm watch a movie
10pm - 12pm surf web/face til sleep.
