Lol I'm honestly with you there.
It's one of the reasons I'm glad I didn't go to an ivy league school for undergrad
I'm at an "easier" school, so it gives me time to learn and study on my own at a greater pace.. I've learned far more from being able to do this (+ learning a lot from classes, just probably not nearly the work load as an ivy league school) than I would have otherwise. Blessing in disguise I guess. Plus you get to know professors better so your recommendation letters are superior and more personalized.
Yea I look back and I'm indifferent about it.
The experience I got was absolutely amazing at the better uni. I was surrounded by geniuses, academically they pushed me harder, looks good on my resume, alumni and I could go on.
But had I stayed at my old uni, I was already on top of my class so I don't think I would have excelled academically as much staying there. But I definitely would have gotten a better GPA , and that was the worst part for my grad applications by far. That 3.9 was equivalent to a 3.5 at the other uni, while putting in 2x the effort. So in the application sense I would have been better off staying.
