Last time I touched a flat bench I could do like 20 reps of 135 (Month or so ago?). 20lbs less than that might not sound like a lot but it makes a huge difference in # of reps when you start getting down there in weight.

ok 30 days from OP is sept 20 correct? I may actually do this for shits. Doubt I'll train for it though.

Also, can we pause at the top once we begin fatiquing? or does the bar have to stay in constant motion?

reason I ask is you'll probably have people waiting 5-10 seconds at the top and then pumping out a few more reps over and over again at the end.

IF YOU WANNA PAUSE YOU GOTTA DO IT WHILE THE BAR IS ON YOUR CHEST. NO LONGER THAN 2 SECONDS.

I post HD vids weekly on youtube and it takes 5-6 minutes at most.

good stuff. Basically a breaths worth of pause at the bottom only.

Bouncing off the chest should be a no bueno too. little nub cake thumb suckers like to do that as well.

Btw guys, you can have as many attempts as you want over the course of the 30 days. So if you feel that in 3 weeks you can crack in 2-3 more reps, just redo a vid.
