It's been a pretty big learning process, did an overall routine 3 days a week for about 2 1/2 months, made the mistake of running 3-5 miles a day for about a month and lost a lot of weight/some muscle. The past month and a half or so I've been going to my old HS gym, and doing more of an isolated bodygroups 3-4 day split. I've only got DB's and a pull-up bar at my apartment though, so gaining mass is going somewhat slowly.
get a gym membership, boost your workout to 4-5 days a week and start out with an upper/lower body routine, 1 day upper, 1 day lower. as for cardio, that wasnt a mistake keep at it and eat a lot
