corn flakes are empty and have virtually no good nutrients...they are also not totally whole grain which means they are higher on the glycemic scale. furthermore rye bread is not nearly as good as true whole grain bread. Oats are some of the best form of whole grains you can eat...extremely slow digesting and very low on the glycemic index. Also rich in fiber and very filling.

In addition, frequency of eating is instrumental in keeping metabolism high. Eating every 3 hours exactly is optimal for fat loss.

Keep your calories down to around 2,000 per day TOTAL...no more than that in order to get proper fat burning ability for your height/weight/bf%.

5 meals + 1 shake per day = perfect for you.

Try my plan and see how it does for you.

I certainly will do. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work though but I will check back in about a month or more as I'm going away on holiday for two weeks and post my results :) Also one would have to do an extreme amount of cardio and diet to actually start burning off muscles right?

I just saw a picture on google showing rye bread when searching for whole grain bread so I'm a little confused.

Just to be perfectly clear I should eat:

Hey, my names Zach. I'm 18, 180lbs 5'11.

First of all, my goal is to lower my body fat % and a six pack :P

I'm trying to workout at the house to save $$ , I got dumbells, curl bar, exercise ball, treadmill, etc...

Currently I work out once or twice a week (not really scheduled, more based on when I have time). I run a lot though, most of the time it's at 5,000+ elevation aswell :P .

Basically what I'm looking for is a workout schedule (using what I got) and maybe some healthy meals I can cook? (I'm currently trying to eat rice, chicken, vegetables, tuna, salads, fish, eggs, oatmeal, etc)

Thanks.

Anything different go on while you used Jet Fuel? (More sweating, etc.)

here is a good bread to get:

as far as muscle burning goes...no...if you simply dont get enough protein and take in far less calories than you burn and don't give your muscles proper rest, you will see lots of muscle burning....if you do everything I say you will avoid any/all muscle wasting.

you can stick to that routine for now...but don't limit yourself to 10 reps on these exercises....start increasing the weight and forcing out more reps...if you fail at 6 reps with heavier weight, that's fine, but at least your muscles are getting stressed under a more complete workload.

As far as diet goes, definitely try the procomplex gainer...or my personal favorite Cytosport Cytogainer. Either one should work fine as it seems like you are a hardgainer.

im not a hard gainer, atleast i don't know yet.. but ive been eating 5x a day for like 2 months and i havnt gained a pound... healthy and unhealthy..

also i have a lot of pain in my knees/elbows already from playing basketball and such, would fish oil help ease it out a bit?

yes, you're a hardgainer lol.

fish oil? no. Joint Support? yes.

Try Universal Animal Flex...take 1 packet per day. Best joint support formula in my opinion.
