first day of my 1600 cal cut.

inb4whyareyoucutting


around 165-170 today
goal: 7-8% bf

will post pic every 2 weeks to show HnF how it gets done

fully relaxed, butjust did chest/bis

Pro pic is full flexed almost passed out lol.,
I'm about the same now just a little more fat.

I've been in a caloric deflict since march so I'm getting redic weaker.
I didn't lift for 21 days in march.
But in end of feb/ begin march
Bench: 225x9
Squat 205x12(if i remember correctly)ATG
Dead 275x13(if I remember correctly). Form wasn't best on deads.

I'm eating practically 2.5 times less than I was then lol
Today I only benched 200x10(. Had 1-2 more / no spotter)

Why are you cutting? Don't mistake lack of muscle as higher bodyfat...seems to me that if you put on 5-10 more lbs of muscle that you'd fill in quite nicely and wouldn't have to worry about cutting since you're already <10%

Your lifts should not be going down while cutting...up your protein/carb intake and forget about the cut. Lean bulk ftw

Lift heavier with less reps...with strength comes muscle and size m8

No h8 ofc just sayian you won't be able to obtain that 'ripped' look until you put on more muscle

I've never been in single digits and I jus want get to a really low bf %. I'm bored and want to challenge myself/ do something different and see if I can stick with te diet how the results will be
It's probably stupid. But you live and learn.

Strenght will come back quickly when I bulk

I jus wanna be shredded m8.

I know one thing I'm afraid of is I'm gonna be so tiny cuz I don't have a lot of muscle
But like I said. You live and learn lol

And my lifts went down so much today. But I murdered my arms Tuesday so they were already dead lol.

Lol depending where you store fat you might already be in single digits if your legs/ass are lean....

It's going to be a lotttt easier to cut down to 6-7% once you put on some more muscle....gotta realize muscle burns more calories meaning even with a small deficit you'll see fat lose results

Imo fuck the cut and just start bulking now...

Even if you don't wanna bulk the minimum you should do is up your protein intake and get on a strength program like 5/3/1

As long as you're gaining strength and eating a surplus you'll be gaining muscle...even if you put on fat it'd still be minimal anyway and you could get rid of it a lot quicker after putting on muscle as oppose to now

I was much weaker today but many factors play. Lack of sleep between school and working ft. And my energy is gone to shit

If I ate a surplus and slept I'd be within 1-3 reps of my latest max.
I'm not thy much weaker
I'm just exhausted

I agree with everything your saying but I just have to do it lol I'm in the zone and want to see what happens

You shouldnt be losing that much strength while cutting. You can maintain / add strength during a cut assuming macros are correct.

Make sure you are still getting all your proteins in!
