thats what I meant by diet...sorry.

You are eating way too many carbs if you are trying to lose body fat...and not nearly enough fat.

A diet with 20/50/20 = 90%....wheres the other 10%?

Also any diet that calls for 50-60% carbs is for BULKING ONLY....not for cutting fat!

You need to read the 3 posts that I put up there which all direct you in proper directions for fat loss while maintaining good muscle size and volume.

Here is a COMPLETE post of mine that illustrates a total bodyfat blitz

edit:

also post ur height/weight/activity level and I'll give you your proper BMR

Oh sorry, I meant 30% on the fats ^_^

Weight- 82kg
Height- 179cm
Activitiy level- 4 days per week gym workouts, main goal of the workout is hypertrophy with 20 minutes of cardio per workout.

hey man my mom has high blood pressure. she drinks alcohol "after 5" about everyday. Shes pretty stressed about shit etc

got any dietary advice? she wont lift no weights but i can probably get her to walk 30-45 minutes a day which i know will help

im guessing she needs low GI, high fiber, no more processed, more restrictive alcohol consum.

I bought her the body for life book but that shits been collecting some dust.

Hey man...probably the easiest stuff she can do is listed below:

1. Increase water consumption
2. Decrease Alcohol consumption
3. Decrease sodium to 1,500 mg per day MAXIMUM (try to get potassium to 3,000mg and calcium/magnesium @ 1,500mg as well)
4. Increase good fat consumption (olive oil, avocados, fish, fish oil, flax, etc)
5. Exercise at least 30-45 mins a day (walking or biking or swimming is good)
6. Have her try yoga (if she is willing)
7. Try supplements like COQ10 + Hawthorne Berry, Garlic, Arginine+Ornithine, Ginko Biloba, and Multivitamins.

Best of luck to her!

I'm eating chicken breast for almost every meal of my diet right now and I'm getting tired of making it. Takes to long to prepare.

Any ideas for good lean protiens that are fast and easy to prepare.

Hey, I'm looking for a diet plan, work-out routine best suited for myself. I've read through many pages of thread seen some sample diets, and work-outs but I'd like this personalized for myself if possible. I'd like some information about how many calories a day I should eat because sometimes I eat 1k calories and workout and I gain weight O_o. And protein intake/sodium etc. And I'm looking to cut weight but at the same time gain lean muscle. <------------------------ Similar to post #18

Height : 5'10-5'11ish
Weight : 170

Thanks in advance.
:)

for leaning out you want a good deal of fats....plain chicken is no way to go.

try fish, shrimp, lobster, steak, ground beef, tuna prepared with mayo, eggs etc.

Any tips on how to cut down on sweating? Before I do weight lifting I do around 20-25 minutes of HIIT running, and after the run find myself covered in sweat. Then, during the weight lifting session the sweat is maintained and it feels uncomfortable. I drink around 2L-3L of water per day, and work out about daily. I also take showers daily. I'm 17 @ 195 lbs 6 feet. I'd consider myself relatively muscular and fat at the same time. Thanks!

Sweating is not a bad thing...nor is it uncommon when you are doing lots of exercise.

There really is no healthy way to stop perspiration....I'd just recommend you keep a towel at the gym and keep yourself dry while doing HIIT and your regular strength routine.

In the years I've spent at the gym, I've grown to love being sweaty while lifting...it gives me a feeling of accomplishment. However, I always put towels down on my equipment before using it as to avoid being a gymtard and making the gym an unpleasant environment for others.

also 2-3L of water a day is NOT enough...drink 1-1.5 gal per day.

hey there.

those are a total scam.

Just keep strength training as much as possible, and focus on the areas most affected by the excess skin. The more muscle in those regions, the better your skin will tighten up. You can also try collagen cream...some people have had luck...others not so much.

Lastly, there is always surgery which can be done and is usually highly effective at removing excess skin from rapid or plentiful weight loss.
