In regards to squats it's like week 3 of my program and I already failed this week. I manged to do 265 for 5 , 5 , and then only got to 4 reps on last set. I think I may have started with a % too high because it's been basically a full on MAX everytime. I'm thinking of dropping the weight 10% to 240, or should I drop it more?
To put that in perspective, 5x5 has you choose a weight where you don't even hit your plugged in 5RM (which is ~5% less than your real 5RM) until week 4.
So yeah, started too high.
