The only thing I would be concerned about with pause squats is intraabdominal pressure. If you aren't breathing properly because of bracing strategies that's a long time for blood to accumulate in the upper limbs and head, and arterial pressure spikes enough as it is when weight lifting. Nn to exacerbate any surprise aneurysms in the general population

how do you propose to breath when performing them to negate any ill effect?

Need help improving on squats.



Form doesn't feel right. Feels like it could be much better. I'm supposed to move up to 265 next week but this was hard as fuck, and form seems like it could be better.. My legs aren't very flexible, don't know if I could get deeper.

change shoes. lower weight. work on flexibility. go deeper. get under the bar more. drive your chest up.
