It's genetics how my abs are. I can't help if I was born with it. As far as preference goes, abs are abs. But I do have a hard time getting obliques. I tried targeting it during ab days, but It wasn't getting any toner. As far as how I do abs, I just run and eat properly. I get the most perks from doingl deadlift where I squeeze my core really tight so I don't end up straining my lower back.
So far, I have fallen gracefully so I'm just skinny now. I kept my abs and back but that's really about it. I have gotten back into the gym, but I just throw up lighter sets with higher reps.
How I used to look:

I wasn't biggest or the tonest, but I had always held my own. I didn't know what I was going for back then but I was strong, fast, and was praised for being fit overall.

never bother with squats or legs..they'll never grow. I got the runner syndrome. If I don't do cardio, i'll eventually lose interest in working out in general. I do lunges with 15 lbs and deadlift every 2 weeks. well that was the past..i dislocated my right shoulder twice ever since then. my right arm got cranked during a grappling match. Then I dislocated again during a mud run with a log. When the log rolled, my arm went went with it when my sleeve got caught by the barks. Well im due for surgery in 4 months anyways...hopefully I'll have the drive to join the gym rats again.
