I'm with Plaad. My descent looks nothing like yours, Ethan. Mine is more of just a drop while hinging at the hips. Also, it's fine if you insist on lowering your hips, but you're missing out on torque with little benefit.

@mvp, your lower back need to be neutral and curving of the upper back allows for more power while not increasing the risk of injury.

why is it a bad comparison?

you should try and keep your form the exact same whether ur doing 135, 225, or 315...

the bottom line is that the weight is probably too much, just judging from the way his form breaks down.

poster should either do less reps or lower the weight IMO.

but im a form stickler for sure... call me crazy lol

I prefer it, but Lightyman has advised against it. I'm still doing it as an accessory, but conventional is my main deadlift movement.
