Optimum Nutrition or NOW! Casein Protein....to replace cottage cheese.

Glutamine helps your body recover...try Optimum Nutrition Glutamin powder (unflavored) and add to your shakes.

I grabbed some Glutamine when I was at the store. It suggests using liberlly. I drink about 4 shakes a day. You think it's fine+necessary to put in every shake?

You certainly can if you are having problems with recovery and/or residual soreness

i think its elodine its a perscription anti-inflammation medicine

just curious why grapefruit?

You should be fine.

Theres chemicals in grapefruit which interfere with the breakdown of certain prescription meds because of suppression or overproduction of certain enzymes. As a result, certain prescription meds are rendered useless if you have enough grapefruit in your system.

However, your prescription is fine I believe....to be sure check it online and find out.

i have a question about aspartame and sucralose (the fake sugar things in like diet sodas etc)... i read a few studies saying that your body can be tricked into thinking that they are still sugar and processes and stores them the same way.. i was just wondering if there is any validity to these statements and what your overall feelings on the substances are.. thanks

Hey there.

This is actually all dependent on skeletal structure, muscular development, as well as overall frame.

It's so variable that there really isn't an answer...but lets say this:

by your 30th birthday you will probably be at your absolute peak as far as total size goes. If you are a professional bodybuilder and you have a 60" chest, assume that when you were 18 you had a 38" chest (you were on the thin side). So in 12 years you would stand to see 22" of chest growth. That averages out to just a shade under 2" a year which is pretty damn good for natural bodybuilders.

the body does not and physically CAN NOT store them as sugar. There is no validity in that argument. However, people who drink diet sodas and gain more bodyfat are probably eating something they shouldn't be eating thinking that it's okay because they drink diet soda. In addition, the artificial sugars are not the best thing for your body to begin with - so I would highly recommend avoiding them as much as possible (long term health risks considered)

Is Greek yogurt with whey protein mixed in a decent replacement for cottage cheese/casein protein?

It's a decent replacement. Greek Yogurt unsweetened + whey powder would work fine.
