Higher hips at start.
Less squatinspired decent.
Neutral spine - head should not look up the entire time.

Deadlifts are the best when you know them.

vouch.

idk why people insist on doing more weight than they can handle lol.

less weight + better form = more gainz

None of his tips had to do with me doing too much weight. If i had done too much my hips would have been too high. And i don't agree with him that my hips are too low, I feel like I get more glute engagement this way..I definitely have to work on head positioning though...again, not a factor of too much weight.

Might be a combination of bar being far away from shins and using your arms slightly that makes it look awkward.

I'm really happy you started doing deadlifts though!

Yes, that is something else that was wrong with my deadlift was that I failed to keep the bar close to my body.

Not sure about arms though, explain?

hahah, thanks! are you benching now?

normally its easier to correct and practice good form with less weight, that obviously was heavy for u.....

3-5 reps every minute on the minute for 10-15 minutes with a medium weight is how i work on my form.

Beginnertip to achieve more balance on heels is to try to wiggle toes slightly. If toes can wiggle weight is correctly placed. Way easier to pull towards you then (aka keep the bar close).
Looks like you initiate the pulls with arms (slightly bent at start and around the knee).

Nah got no real use for benching. I do quite alot of dumbbellpressing & flyes (feels better and provides more mobility).
Actually even started doing dips for the first time in like 2½ years. TFW 20dips was rather easy, tfw ringdips even feel decent.

the weight is probably too much for u. your set up is not too bad, but once you engage the weight your form begins to break down.

and what hes talking about your hips is true, look at the chick vs your posture.

imo your arms and shoulders look fine maybe could be a tad forward. just need ass up and head down a bit, more of a staight line.

u did 235x7, IMO you should do like 205x6 probably and you would see much better results imo.

but the fact that your posting shows u care about your form, youre headed the right direction :D

mmm, it does look like my arms are bent in the video.. I will pay better attention to that next time.

So i'm confused, I thought you lifted just to compete in lifting. Do you play a sport that you lift for?

I don't find competing that fun, even though weightlifting was alot more fun than powerlifting.
Nah. I mainly just lift to be strong and athletic. Focus atm is a mix between weightlifting with alot of gymnastic/calisthenics for auxiliary work.
Also currently semi-cutting and doing some bb atm due to injuries, decided to not lift all that heavy for a while to rehab.

Still got some goals for the end of the year though:
Squat: 200+ (Did 190 in june)
Frontsquat: 170+ (Did 154 in januari)
C&J: 140 (Cleaned 140 in october)
Snatch: Hopefully more than current PR
Deadlift: 260+ (Did 240 in december)
Frontlever (pretty close)
Strict muscleup (pretty close)
Pullup/Chin with 50kg (at like 40 atm).
140+cm boxjump
3m broadjump

Jon prefers aesthetics to steal girls from bars.

His split personality disorder then kicks in. Part of him wants to lock them in his bathroom and the other part wants to figure out why they've locked themselves in there.

All to find out its one of his good friends and he ain't gettin any that night.
