Its not the amount that matters. Your advice is horrible. Debt collections will impact your credit score which can negatively impact major transactions later in life.

This is why idiots who dont pay their last phone bill before they move to the next provider get screwed next time they apply for a loan.

The whole point is that there won't even be a debt collection encounter. No debt collector is going to chase 30 dollars - lmfao.


I'm not even saying that the best move isn't to just cuck out and fork over the 30 bucks - I could just as easily make my argument in favor of that.

And yes collection agencies do go after 30 dollars. They just send out automated letters that capture the amount on a template and it goes out in the mail. I see it all the time with people who owe on phone bills. Any off the shelf accounting system now exports amounts over 90 days with name address and other customer info. This is typically exported into CSV or XlS and then imported by the collection agency which then populates templates automatically, be it the use of Caseware or other software. Its all automated.

I've never had a problem procuring cash for my endeavors - do you know why? Because I show the bank my tax info and they immediately realize that whatever credit disputes I've had in the past are completely irrelevant next to the sheer amount of financial competence it takes to amass the wealth I have.
