it really is different for everybody. you'll never know for sure until you try it out for yourself. my experience on the 2 things you mentioned were mostly positive.
for me it was harder to fall asleep, only due to my mind thinking all this crazy shit which would keep me up. but the quality of sleep was fucking awesome. drastic improvement there, no doubt.
appetite, yeah obviously. during the ...highness... i'd have zero appetite. but once the effects started to wear off, (~1.5hrs) munchies would hit hard. i'd eat something, be full, and then still be hungry. and then again. it was ridiculous.
don't mess around with it at all anymore, but i recently tried CBD-infused water which has no psychoactive effects, yet also does nothing for getting a good night's sleep. waste of 5 bucks, wouldn't recommend.
